About This Blog

Mostly, I started this blog as a means to improve my own writing. I'm ashamed to admit that I completely and utterly failed in this regard throughout my academic career. My self-consciousness reached critical mass during Freshman Writing under the dictates of a PhD student named Karen.

Well, I've finally come to terms with the inescapable: learning to cogently express myself is invaluable.

Hence the blog. I like the blogging platform because publishing for an internet audience makes me more accountable than scribbling in a notebook. Also, it's comforting writing under the guise of "personal updates for friends and family." Being tilted toward personal journal, all the usual caveats apply.

I have no singular or overarching focus - expect posts about my experiences, interests, and day-to-day grind. Currently, I am living in Taiwan so content gravitates towards all things related.
